- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, minced garlic, and salt.
- Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture until well coated.
- Spread the shrimp on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- While the shrimp is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley and lemon juice.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, drizzle the garlic-herb butter over the top and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in the spice mixture for a few hours before cooking.
- Serve with crusty bread to soak up the garlic-herb butter.
