Description

A delicious and healthy shrimp dish featuring a spicy chili-roasted flavor complemented by a rich garlic-herb butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, minced garlic, and salt.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture until well coated.
  4. Spread the shrimp on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. While the shrimp is baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley and lemon juice.
  8. Once the shrimp are cooked, drizzle the garlic-herb butter over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in the spice mixture for a few hours before cooking.
