Description

Delicious Chicken Parmesan Meatballs are the perfect combination of juicy chicken and savory cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  7. Add the cooked meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.
  9. Serve warm with pasta or on a sub for meatball sandwiches.

Notes

  • Feel free to add Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
  • These meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
