Description

A rich and creamy chicken liver pâté perfect for carnivores.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brandy or cognac


Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken livers and remove any connective tissue.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the chicken livers, salt, and pepper, cooking until the livers are just pink inside.
  5. Remove from heat, add brandy, and let cool slightly.
  6. Blend the mixture until smooth.
  7. Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate until set.
