Description

A rich and flavorful broth made by double simmering chicken feet to extract maximum collagen and nutrients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken feet
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, sliced
  • 1 handful fresh parsley
  • 10 cups water
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns


Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken feet thoroughly and remove any dirt or impurities.
  2. In a large pot, add the chicken feet, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, ginger, parsley, and black peppercorns.
  3. Pour water and apple cider vinegar into the pot.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 4-6 hours.
  5. Strain the broth, discard solids, and return the liquid to the pot.
  6. Simmer for an additional 2 hours to intensify flavors.
  7. Cool, then refrigerate or freeze for future use.
