Description

Delicious cheddar-stuffed meatballs made with beef, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jar marinara sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm, place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center, and mold the meat around it to form a ball.
  5. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  6. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  8. While meatballs are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan.
  9. Once done, serve meatballs topped with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar.
  • These meatballs can also be cooked in a skillet over medium heat.
