Description
A delicious seafood pie made with cheddar bay biscuit topping, filled with shrimp, crab, and a creamy filling.

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 package cheddar bay biscuit mix
- 2/3 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the shrimp until pink.
- Add the crab meat and 1/4 cup of the heavy cream. Stir in the garlic powder and Old Bay seasoning. Remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix the remaining heavy cream with the cheddar cheese and green onions.
- Combine the seafood mixture with the cheese mixture and transfer to a pie dish.
- Prepare the cheddar bay biscuit mix according to the package instructions, adding milk as directed.
- Dollop and spread the biscuit mixture over the seafood filling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some lemon juice or zest to the seafood mixture.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
