Ingredients

- 2 pounds fresh clams
- 4 tablespoons beef drippings
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the beef drippings over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the clams to the pot and cover.
- Steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes or until they open.
- Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm.

- Ensure all clams are fresh and unopened before cooking.
- Discard any clams that do not open during cooking.
