- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon steaks with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon steaks skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the steaks and add butter, garlic, and thyme to the skillet.
- Baste the salmon with the melted butter and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve immediately with the butter sauce drizzled on top.
