- 1 pound beef liver
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the liver in bourbon for at least 1 hour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Push onions to the side and add liver to the skillet.
- Cook liver for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
- Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking for another minute.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

- Adjust bourbon amount to taste.
- For a milder flavor, soak liver in milk for 30 minutes before marinating.
