Description

A rich and flavorful dish featuring liver marinated in bourbon and sautéed with onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef liver
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Marinate the liver in bourbon for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Push onions to the side and add liver to the skillet.
  5. Cook liver for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  6. Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking for another minute.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
