Description

A bold and spicy take on the classic Kansas City strip steak, perfect for grilling lovers.


Ingredients

  • 2 Kansas City strip steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
  4. Brush the steaks with olive oil.
  5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
