- 2 Kansas City strip steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the steaks.
- Brush the steaks with olive oil.
- Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
