Description

Delicious homemade blood sausage patties without any fillers. Perfect for breakfast or a savory snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups blood (pork or duck)
  • 1 cup pork fat, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the blood, pork fat, salt, black pepper, thyme, marjoram, nutmeg, onion, parsley, and egg until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and browned.
  5. Serve hot.
