Deliciously seasoned blackened salmon steaks paired with shrimp and crispy bacon skewers for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the blackening seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture over the salmon fillets.
  4. Wrap each shrimp with a slice of bacon and secure with a skewer.
  5. Brush both the salmon and skewers with olive oil.
  6. Place the salmon on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  7. Grill the shrimp skewers for about 3-4 minutes, turning halfway through, until bacon is crispy.
