Description

A flavorful dish combining berbere-spiced hake with a refreshing bean salad.


Ingredients

  • 4 fillets hake
  • 2 tablespoons berbere spice
  • 2 cans mixed beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Coat the hake fillets with olive oil and sprinkle with berbere spice.
  3. Place the fillets on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.
  4. In a bowl, combine the mixed beans, bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.
  5. Toss the salad to combine well and serve alongside the roasted hake.
