- 4 fillets hake
- 2 tablespoons berbere spice
- 2 cans mixed beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Coat the hake fillets with olive oil and sprinkle with berbere spice.
- Place the fillets on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.
- In a bowl, combine the mixed beans, bell pepper, cucumber, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.
- Toss the salad to combine well and serve alongside the roasted hake.

- For a spicier dish, add more berbere spice.
- Fresh herbs like parsley can enhance the salad’s flavor.
