- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large pot, combine cooked macaroni, beef mixture, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
