Description

This hearty Beefy Baked Mac and Cheese is a comforting dish topped with cheesy breadcrumbs. Perfect for a family dinner!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. In a large pot, combine cooked macaroni, beef mixture, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
