Description

Deliciously savory Beef Wellington Bites wrapped in golden pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef tenderloin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove beef and let it cool.
  5. Add mushrooms, garlic, and thyme to the skillet, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry, then cut into squares.
  7. Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture on each square, followed by a piece of beef.
  8. Wrap the pastry around the beef and secure with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
