Description

Delicious tacos made with tender beef tongue, served in carnivore-friendly shells.


Ingredients

  • 1 beef tongue
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa


Instructions

  1. Begin by boiling the beef tongue in salted water for about 3-4 hours until tender.
  2. Remove the tongue and let it cool, then peel off the skin.
  3. Slice the tongue into thin pieces and season with salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder.
  4. Heat the tortillas in a pan until soft.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing slices of beef tongue on each tortilla, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
