Ingredients

- 1 beef tongue
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 12 corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Begin by boiling the beef tongue in salted water for about 3-4 hours until tender.
- Remove the tongue and let it cool, then peel off the skin.
- Slice the tongue into thin pieces and season with salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder.
- Heat the tortillas in a pan until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing slices of beef tongue on each tortilla, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the tongue overnight.
- Adjust spices according to taste.
- These tacos can be made ahead of time and reheated.
