Description

This is a delicious and hearty dish featuring beef tendon that is braised until tender and gelatinous.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef tendon
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine beef tendon, beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  3. Simmer for 3-4 hours, until the tendon is tender and gelatinous.
  4. Stir in sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper to taste。
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh beef tendon.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
