Description

A creamy and savory beef stroganoff made with dairy-only ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound beef, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups egg noodles


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, flour, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  5. Reduce heat and stir the sour cream mixture into the skillet until well combined.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens, seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and serve topped with the stroganoff.
