A delicious recipe for tender and flavorful burnt ends using beef deckle (point) cut.

- 3 pounds beef deckle (point) brisket
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Trim the beef deckle and season it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place the brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F (88°C).
- Remove the brisket and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Cut the brisket into small cubes and place them in a bowl.
- Add BBQ sauce to the cubes and mix well.
- Return the sauced burnt ends to the smoker and cook for another hour.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can wrap the brisket in butcher paper during smoking.
- Make sure to let the meat rest to retain moisture.
