Ingredients

  • 4 cups bone broth
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 sprigs thyme
  • 2 bay leaves


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a large Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the beef cheeks with salt and pepper, then sear them in the hot butter until browned on all sides.
  4. Add garlic, onion, thyme, and bay leaves; sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the bone broth, bringing it to a simmer.
  6. Cover the pot and transfer it to the preheated oven.
  7. Braise for 3 to 4 hours, or until the beef cheeks are tender.
  8. Remove from the oven, discard bay leaves and thyme, and serve hot.
