Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the basil-infused lard over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic, sautéing until softened.

- Stir in the diced tomatoes, bay leaves, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the veal is tender.
- Remove bay leaves before serving.
