- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 8 slices prosciutto
- 1/2 cup beef tallow
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
- Melt the tallow in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Dip each wrapped asparagus into the melted tallow, ensuring it’s coated.
- Arrange the wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, use thinly sliced prosciutto.
- Experiment with different herbs for added flavor.
