- 8 ounces prosciutto
- 3 tablespoons tallow
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
- Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
- Heat tallow in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the wrapped asparagus to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10-15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and prosciutto is crispy.
- Serve hot.
