Description

Delicious and savory asparagus wrapped in crispy prosciutto with a hint of tallow for richness.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 8 ounces prosciutto
  • 3 tablespoons tallow
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
  3. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
  4. Heat tallow in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the wrapped asparagus to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10-15 minutes until the asparagus is tender and prosciutto is crispy.
  7. Serve hot.
