- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in the vanilla extract and salt gently.
- Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.

- Ensure that no yolk gets into the egg whites for the best puff.
