Ingredients

  • 2 hanger steaks
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, anchovy fillets, garlic, parsley, and lemon zest until well combined.
  3. Season the hanger steaks with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, basting with the anchovy butter towards the last couple of minutes.
  5. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve with additional anchovy butter on top.
