- 2 hanger steaks
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 anchovy fillets, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, anchovy fillets, garlic, parsley, and lemon zest until well combined.
- Season the hanger steaks with salt and pepper.
- Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, basting with the anchovy butter towards the last couple of minutes.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with additional anchovy butter on top.
